clue

Sometimes, we simply need to relearn our thinking pattern about meal planning....Eating vegan, doesn't mean eating tons of rice& bread....and of course, the meat should be vegan....I suggested a healthier meal plan at the last message, just scrlol down...<3

Question..I have not done anything that different the last 2 nights.. Last night before bed i had a bowl of shredded wheat.. and some 2% milk a few times during the night..my BS this morning was 251. I had a sausage biscuit and 2 hash browns for breakfast, a tuna foot long sub with just onions, and dinner i had roasted chicken and brown rice.. by reading was 345.. why is it going up?? does this usually happen when one starts new meds for a week? or what am i doing wrong??

M. B.> Hunt That is a lot of carbs. A lot of grains, rice, bread, cereal, and potatoes. I can't have any of those and even without consuming any of those for days my fasting readings are still in 200's . Try more nuts and vegetables in lieu of the breads and potatoes.

Debra J Eichler-Elliott >I agree,  too many carbs for me, too...and Animal flesh is unnecessary, immoral, cruel,  and hard for kidneys to filter, .instead I have steamed veggies with low sugar low carb marinade for breakfast with sugar free herb tea...a big raw veggie salad with some nuts and seeds with vegan chicken or beef strips fr lunch,... and a half sandwhich with ezekial bread for dinner that has 10 net carbs o sugar, that is about 5 inches thick with avocado slice and sprouts, and sliced veggies with braggs apple cider vinegar and olive oil dressing....
