My fondest Memories of my beloved Father, are with me every day. ...and especially today, on Father's Day.
Although he passed away on August 27, 1974..It seems like only yesterday that we were listening to a Ball Game, or Meet The Press, .. on the radio,.. or listening to his favorite Classical Music, or Classic Jazz, on the Thorens Turntable he built,.. or listening to him read to me, He liked Robert Frost.

 
    It seems like only yesterday he was charming every dear old lady we bumped into, and later telling me to always remember to think of the other person's feelings, first. He always took the time to ask me what my thoughts and feelings were, too.

    It seems like only yesterday, he was going for a walk with me, and looking into the sky talking about the clouds, and when he was a pilot in the Air Force...or looking at a Swan on a lake, commenting that although the Swan looked so peaceful and serene, it was paddling with it's feet, like crazy, below the water's surface, out of our sight... <3

Although it's Father's Day, It doesn't seem fair to me not to mention my Mother, because they were truly soul mates, and shared a fiercely strong affection for one another, and were very much in love. She adored him. He treasured her.

You see us in the photo, and you see beautiful coats that my Grandmother and I are wearing ? My Mother designed them and made them. My Dad looks sharp in that Suit, Shirt, and Tie...

.My Mother picked it out. Even that cute little Spring Hat and Cape Cod Woven Purse Basket with the Silk Flowers on top, Mom picked out for me. See how nicely curled my hair is ? Mom wound each strand of my hair in Spooleys Rollers, before I went to bed,after washing my hair for me, and she took them out and brushed my hair out for me the next morning, ... and I felt extremely cared about and loved by both my Mother and Father, and Grand Mother, too.

I will never forget how tremendously blessed I was. To this day, for all that and so much more, I still count my blessings , and the more mature I become, the more awe I feel about it and   I still give thanks to God for it all, every day.

You see, Emmanuele Calvani, I think...might have already left his Face book, for the Summer, ....Emmanuele Calvani, usually goes away for the Summer, and returns on October 20, to his Face Book, ... to thank every friend, for their birthday greetings, wishing him a happy birthday. his birthday being October 19. Every year, he forgets to say goodbye on his Face Book, ...lol :) So many , of our mutual friends, who post on his Face book, worry why he doesn't answer for such a long time of 5 or 6 months, and become afraid that he is sick, or dead, when he is gone from his Face Book, for such a long time...[five or six months]. It can be very upsetting to think that maybe a beloved friend is gone, or died, ... so I hope you won't be hurt or worried. Debra Elliott .... Käraste systerAnna Hilvervik, , tänker jag att kanske Emmanuele, redan har lämnat sin dator, för sommaren. Emmanuele lämnar sin facebook och stänger sin dator utanför .... en inte tillbaka förrän den 19 oktober i tid för att tacka alla för hans födelsedag önskemål och hälsningar. Han lämnar sin dator hemma ... eftersom det är mycket stor ..... och hans arbete gör honom lämna hemmet, att köra tågen, långt borta .... Så du inte oroa dig .... Emmanuele är ok .... han bara inte kan få sin fb ....... gud vet att du är och god vän, och kommer att höra dina böner <3 jag bryr mig om dig, så jag inte vill att du ska oroa dig :)

EDITORIAL JUST FOR MY LOCAL HOMETOWN FRIENDS: Been noticing all the sympathy posts from home town friends and acquaintances, about the people killed in the Orlando Florida Lounge.....Well guess what? the news says / that dude was from Long Island... yup...Grew up there... that's practically your own back yard. It could have just as easily been a local event in Your Home Town, that the killer picked... Well, that certainly makes you think, OMG, doesn't it ? the killer probably Might have seen our fireworks, eh ? just a ferry boat ride away....this post is set to friends only... don't share on public setting.... Also my reply to my friends who keep posting about how we should go over to the middle east to get ride of Isis.... all your comments are so bold and macho sounding...but you are forgetting something... important... Ask yourself, where is Isis, who is Isis, what do they look like ? You're thinking a scary looking Arabic looking fellow ? Guess again... according to the news... they can look as Scotch/ Irish as donald trump, could look like: your best friend, your sunday school teacher, the guy you celebrate Bar Mitzah with.... or drank a beer next to watching the world Series.....right in your own town.....your not a kid anymore, stop thinking it's as simple as playing cowboys and indians, or red rover.....[my apology to indians....]

to me It is a very rare occurrence for Emmanuele to message me, these days,... so  enjoyed it tremendusly.. could appreciate it more, now that I know him better.....
